Notes...

One of my favourite designs of all the calculators in my colleciton, this calculator is slightly curved from a long life in the hip pocket of its owner, Igor Belolaptikov.

"I work in Dubna (about 100 km from Moscow) in Joint Institute for nuclear research. I inform you about it because it is rather great institute whist was created as alternative Soviet institute to CERN." -

A great photo of a classroom demonstration model of the b3-36.

An interesting early variation.

The Rockwell model from which the basic B3-36 design is derived. The Rockwell 74K exhibits similar functionality.
