As weird as they get! The display was 4 rows x 12 digits + sign + decimal

This machine has the same functions as the Iskra 112.

In the calculator simultaneously on the screen three registers of memory and working register are displayed. There are also additional keys for automatic summation. The first operand automatically adds with the register 1, the second operand adds with the register 2, and the result adds with the register 3.

The display consists of a small oscilloscope-type tube, which could display 4 rows of 12 digits + sign + decimal. The memory registers are shown on the display simultaneously.

Variants

A second variant of this machine has a key for exchanging the registers "<->" instead of the reverse division key, and displays the overflow as a special character on the display, rather than by a separate lamp.

How much?

The highest price for any Soviet calculator was signalled to me by the repairman of the calculators. He has told me, that the calculator Iskra 1122 with CRT display in those times cost of 4,100 rubles. The automobile "Zaporozhec" - cheapest automobile then cost of 3,600 rubles. - Sergei Frolov
