Iskra 121

The Iskra 121 was the first in a series of scientific calculators, designed in the beginning of the 1970s. This series is began with calculators Iskra 121, Iskra 122, Iskra 123, Iskra 124, Iskra 125. A distinctive feature of calculators of this series - algebraic logic with hierarchy of operations. That is, to calculate expression: 2 + 3 * 4 it is not required to fulfil at first division, and then subtraction. The calculator understands precedence of operations, for what the push-down memory is used.

In addition to this, in calculators the scheme of blanking of insignificant zeros both up to a comma, and after a comma is applied. The calculator has two registers of memory for storage of numbers, and the second register of memory has the key of automatic addition with the register. Also, there is a key of calculation of the square root and key of exponentation in the whole degree.

How to Calculate

This calculator has algebraic logic, but not brackets as in the Iskra 122, 123, 124

a * b + c * d = a [X] b [+] c [X] d [=]
