Some of the information on this page comes from a site which, without asking, appropriated copyright images and information from this site. I'm quite happy to reciprocate in kind.

Please remember, the data you see here has taken a lot of time and effort to collect and present. The very least you can do (must do!) when using it is to acknowledge its source.

MK-46 is MK-64 without ADC (Analogue to Digital Converter) and processes control.

Note about function "eix" in B3-21, MK-46, MK-64. After this function is called, the calculator places sin x into reg. Y and cos y into reg. X.. Through this function one may easy calculate "tan" function by pressing "div" key.

Keys: 30 Memory registers: 8+6 data-stack Program memory: 66 steps (max len=60 bytes) Calculation stack: X,Y Commutating (mixing) input channels - 7. Analogue signals range - from 0 to pos/neg 10 V. Analogue to digital convertor (ADC): absent

Bugs and features

In early versions of this calculator, the following bugs are observed:

  • At addition of number containing in a mantissa seven "9" and more of four units in eighth (undisplayed) for fractional mantissas the digit, and greater on exponent there is a bug. For check of the calculator it is necessary to combine 9.9999999 and 10. If the result is equal 120, at calculations it is necessary to take into account this feature The difference of numbers distinguished on the order more than on seven units, is less the greater number on unit of last digit of a mantissa (for example, 10 - 10-20 = 9.9999999).

  • At reading a command of check of a condition x>=0 or x<0 contents -0 in register X are perceived by the managing device as a negative number. As the representation -0 can appear only after performance of the operator of change of a mark , it is necessary to avoid input of this operator before the operators of transition on a condition.

  • At performance of the single operators of calculation of elementary functions and operator x^y in the categories about one of the registers (which number depends on a kind of function and values of argument) ring of the stack of numerical memory the signal of overflow is brought, that results to errors at use of this register for a storage of operands. For check of the calculator it is necessary to clear memory, by switching off a power, and after inclusion of a power to press keys [2][P][sin][P][st>>]. If displaying a zero, the calculator is free from a examined lack, otherwise displaying 0 -00 at function evaluation between calling to stack it
