MUTR as camera

Postby claudegu » Sun Sep 25, 2011 6:29 am

Does anybody try to convert the MUTR kit to a camera ?

With a light sensor fitted instead of the led and some electronicsshould it be possible?.

I would think so, yes, but with such small holes it would likely be very insensitive, especially if a small sensor were used with the existing diffusing screen.

I haven't got my MUTR to hand but the current viewing lens must be placed closer in than its focal point, since it is acting as a magnifier. If it is to act as an objective lens, it would need moving out.

Thank's for the reply.

You are right about the holes size and the magnifier setting.
