Daniel Gosson's Televisor -- images, screenshots, and video!

Daniel Gosson sent me some excellent footage and pictures of his Televisor, which I attach here. The video, in particular, shows how much better Nipkow scanned images look in 'motion' than as still images.

"This is an NBTV monitor with a home drilled 52cm aluminium disk. I tried to model the cabinet style something along the line of the noahs Arks televisor. The whole thing runs off a 12 volt car battery to make safe observing while open. plus the disk has been smoothed to remove shape edges."
