I know Dave, but this was meant for Daan, a Dutch youngster.
If I had to translate my message into English (or something that looks alike) and poste that on the forum, then Daan has to translate it back into Dutch. I know how much is lost in those two translation actions. Sometimes you even don't recognise the original.
If you want to experience that, do a computer translation from English to Dutch and than translate it back......... At least rubbish out.
So to avoid those problems I wrote in Dutch to Daan. Easier for him, easier for me, no translation errors.
However..... how about learning a few words of Dutch? Volker, living in Germany, also did that. Why should others alway conform themselves to the English language?
Next to that I bet that you can read to 50% of my Dutch posting if you use your creativity. So if you really want to know..... And for the remaining 50% there are dictionaries. And if paper is too difficult, type
www.tecdic.com, type the word, hit 'Enter' and choose from the offered alternatives. Works also in reverse, in case you want to write a posting in Dutch.......
