Steve, have you thought of how to transport such a large thing? The disc should have the same thickness as a 32 line disc with a size of half a metre, say 0.5 mm, as the holes have about the same size. You should make something to support the too flexible disc. When rotating it will strech itself, but when not moving....
However, yes it is a challenge.
