2 channels for a long line Nipkow

Some thing i was wondering about today .
Thinking could you use 2 stereo channels for displaying a longer image of the same image as in having 2 led arrays side by side on a say Nipkow disk or 2 different dispalys on the same Nipkow ...now i am not sure how useful this would be or a hindrance...Baird had this sort of idea for making more lines on the same mirror drum having 3 light sensors for the camera and modulating 3 lights side by side but that was for making extra lines ...this would just increase the length of the line on a standard Nipkow or aperture drum or display 2 different screens one above the other if a NBTVA type idea .
The electromagnetic spectrum has no theoretical limit at either end. If all the mass/energy in the Universe is considered a 'limit', then that would be the only real theoretical limit to the maximum frequency attainable.
