Problem with MUTR kit

Postby DrZarkov » Mon Aug 20, 2007 3:18 pm

I've got an email today by another German who has bought the kit. Unfortunally the "sensor" for the synch was broken. To safe costs for sending it back to England he asks what is it really for a part? type number? I should be possible to get it here somewhere?

Optical Interrupter in MUTR TV

Postby kd6cji » Sat Aug 25, 2007 4:45 am

I don't know what is exact part is used in MUTR TV, but if you search for "Reflective Optical Interrupter" on Google you may be able to find the replacement. DigiKey for example has a few that look like a suitable replacement.

Opto sensors.

I'm not sure what type of opto-sensor is used in this kit, but if it's of the reflective variety (see attached pdf) then Farnell UK stock them...
