What's that???

Postby DrZarkov » Sun Oct 28, 2007 7:36 am

I was just scanning on my shortwave receiver connected to the laptop for SSTV pictures, but found nothing. I was listening later in the 80m band around 3700 and 3750 kHz SSB. In the background was The big picture still running, set to soundcard entrance, I've forgotten to close it. When I've closed the SSTV software (I use JVComm32 btw), I saw that strange picture on The Big Picture:

What is that? Just a disturbing in the soundcard/radio connection, or a picture signal from shortwave??

that's just the big picture trying to make sense of some interference.

it does a similar thing if you accidentally feed the audio channel of an nbtv signal into it instead of the video channel
