Informational video now on NBTV

Postby Viewmaster » Wed Feb 06, 2008 12:54 am

I see that the NBTVA now has an informational video on google.
Pity the handbook (with contains those references to out of date pcb's ) is shown immediately before the photos of pcb's which do not match.

Maybe the idea is to mislead beginners so that they have to travel through the fires of misunderstanding in order to get a Nipkow running .

A kinda NBTV baptism. :) ........
I was baptised last year!
Albert.

edit added.....I have written to Chris suggesting an extra page be inserted in all handbooks sold explaining that the handbook pcb's are not those bought from the club shop.

The handbook is one thing that has to be done. This should not be very difficult, there is a good description of the club circuits already online, just good hidden in the shop! (Unfortunally in PDF). It's more or less a matter of copy & paste.

But the video is very good! Very professionel and makes appetite in more :-)

We will be addressing this problem at the NBTVA convention in April

Does anyone know what's happened to this video? - the link to it from the NBTVA home page is broken.
