Where it all started as far as most are concerned and saw heavy use from the 60s through to the 80s. Colour and Hi-res modes have unfortunately pushed this system into the backwaters of SSTV. Time to resurrect interest in this simple analogue system.
Copthorne McDonald was the man that gave the world SSTV. Originally an AM modulated sub-carrier was used but it was quickly found that a FM-based system was better immune to fading and interference on the HF Amateur bands. This system was in use from the 60s through to the 80s and there are still a few around who have an interest in this simple to implement analogue mode. If you have an interest in this or just curious have a browse around as the threads develop. It's worthwhile having a look in the "Reference and Archive" section for explanation as to how this all works and perhaps some inspiration.
Copthorne McDonald Hope they can be used here.....

The electromagnetic spectrum has no theoretical limit at either end. If all the mass/energy in the Universe is considered a 'limit', then that would be the only real theoretical limit to the maximum frequency attainable.
