I have deleted the previous two postings within this thread as 1) They have no connection to NBTV/SSTV or television in general, i.e. irrelevant. 2) At least one of the links appears suspect (Unsafe and/or illegal).

My apologies, Steve. I'm new here and wasn't sure whether or not to reply. I erred on the side of putting a legitimate link in the thread. I did check it out before posting the link, and it was good, at least in the US.

We've not had many dubious/dangerous links posted here in the past except for a whole load some years ago. They too were from new members and the applications were of little or no connection to the theme of this forum. Hence you understand our use of the 'vetting process' process during a new members five first posts. Spammers are unlikely to bother.

If you Google "itoolab watsgo" you end up at a site that charges around US$28 for the software. It appears legit, whereas on some sites it was free...something's not right there. Hence my decision to err on the side of caution for the sake of the membership. Also, as noted, it's not an application that deals with the main thrust of this forum.

I understand perfectly. Hopefully I'll have something soon to contribute, somewhat related to the late 1970s/early '80s Medium Scan TV system, but based on SSTV and fitting into a 3 kHz SSB or AM audio bandwidth. I don't have it ready for even a proposal yet, but I'm getting closer. But there'll be no links to anything that isn't already mainstream, such as ham radio or programming sites that are long-since vetted.

I did that, and that's where I got the site I linked to. I thought it might have some application in NBTV. Obviously, I was wrong. Again, not trying to start trouble.
