1935 movie with an interesting theme, there is a depiction of a flying spot scanner at 15:03, alas only partially authentic.

You mean what was supposed to represent a TV picture? True, but I don't mind that so much since they do that even today! (albeit using computer graphic overlays).

(I noticed a couple of Nipkow machines in there as well.)
