The electromagnetic spectrum has no theoretical limit at either end. If all the mass/energy in the Universe is considered a 'limit', then that would be the only real theoretical limit to the maximum frequency attainable.

It does say at the bottom that he was German.

Yes but Andrew that was a different newspaper clipping from someone who did do their research !the little one was from the 50s .
i just put them together in a Russian theme :wink:

BTW Andrew while i have you here i recall a while back trying to see a link or video to your tv appearance and it didn't work is that about any where ? i never got to see it .

Russia, Prussia, both in the East :D When Nipkow was born in 1860, there was no state called Germany. Lauenburg (near Danzig, now Gdansk) was a small town in Prussia.

I can see the collecting bug with these machines did you ever get the MK 47 ?
i once had before selling it on ebay early led type calculator very large to what they look like today or a few years later .

Perhaps they decided the "P" was silent and decided not to print it either. :wink:
