The electromagnetic spectrum has no theoretical limit at either end. If all the mass/energy in the Universe is considered a 'limit', then that would be the only real theoretical limit to the maximum frequency attainable.

That first line, "As soon as the war is over..." is a bit poignant, given that he died in 1946. I assume, therefore, that the ambition didn't materialise.

Well Dave its interesting what was on he's mind to me perhaps Australia was he's for the taking didn't win with the BBC here he might of been King but yes it was not to be ....I think it was earlier this year i heard on the radio some one was asking about the value of a document they had from Baird to the Australian government at the time to start television here so he did have serious plans to try and be first to start television in Australia .
