butterfield colors tv system

This is interesting i think having a quick read it only works on still tv images

The electromagnetic spectrum has no theoretical limit at either end. If all the mass/energy in the Universe is considered a 'limit', then that would be the only real theoretical limit to the maximum frequency attainable.

I mentioned this interesting post to my wife and she said ... "I've seen it in action!" She recalled when she was a kid and watching TV in her room (a small black and white one she had until the early '70s) that she ran in to tell her mother that her TV was showing colour pictures! All she remembers is seeing "reds and greens" - but I thought I'd mention it. That would have been in Illinois, USA, I think, in the very late '60s.

Wow that great to hear Andrew they said in the posts that they used it for adds but the pictures had to be still.... its interesting alright ..i am keen in time to print out that colour wheel and see if my old eyes see the effect .
Now you Wife knows what she was seeing :shock:
