WAV file utility

Postby AncientBrit » Mon Feb 11, 2008 6:29 pm

I've knocked up a WAV file utility to specifically analyse NBTV files, both mono and colour.

It can also be used to examine the contents of ordinary WAV files.

It's not bomb proof but I've tried it out on '98, XP and Vista and it seems to work on all.

Big files take a little while to load into memory where all the work is done.

GL

Excellent!! Just what I've been hoping would appear instead of having to examime the files at hex level! ...or using Audacity...

Runs on XP Pro SP1 OK here.....And this is a bilingual version which often causes problems when Asian languges are involved for some reason.

re Vista, Thanks Gary, sweated over that prog quite a bit.

You can crash it if you are determined, but it's a utility, that's my excuse.

I've just 'upgraded' the craptop to Win XP Pro SP2 2008 which has a very Vista feel to it, and it runs fine too...

...and because the Internet Explorer to say the least is 'flakey' I've gone back to the previous version, SP1.
