the first regular television service started. In Germany, with 180 lines. Of course the British say they were first in 1930, but the Baird 30 line service was more or less experimental, and the Nazis called their 180 line service "high definition". Well, one year later the first real regular "HDTV" service started in London, while the Germans needed one year longer to start the 441 line service. So, who was really the first?
