On youtube i saw people recording with this kind of cylinder machine... onto a plastic cup :shock:

i saw this too :

Steve, I am still around and just spotted this old post of yours re
your Edison phonograph.
Are you doing something interesting with it re NBTV? Or was it a gentle hint for me to get my finger out? :-)

Just to let you know that my Edikow machine is not on the scrap heap !
It was put on the middle burner and then the back burner for a year or so.
Now it is on the middle burner again........I have ordered some parts for yet more mods and when they come the Edikow will be on the front burner once again.
