No, there was too much snow, I'm afraid... I've used the time to build a new televisor around a Peter Yanczer disc. Pictures will follow later, after I've moved to my new home.

I had a quick word with Jeremy Jago on Saturday.

He tells me they are currently being despatched from the printers.

My copy of the newsletter arrived today (26th Jan) after having being diverted via Hong Kong and Singapore! The reason?

The address characters were far too large! The last two lines of the address spilled over onto the reverse of the page making the country, city and postcode invisible to the postal workers. The characters are some 9mm high! ...and when you consider this is the simplified (international) version of the address...

So somewhere a postal worker guessed or knew what country Bangna is in, and/or The Sukhumvit (a major highway that runs from Bangkok to Phnom Phen in Cambodia).

I don't understand why the characters are so large, no more than 5mm should be plenty!

Did anyone else have the same 'hiccup'? I have sent a note to Jeremy regarding this.

Well I haven't received mine yet, but that's about par for the course - however a small glitch like that is all the help our postal service needs to mislay an item.

Ok, thanks for that, I suppose now I should ask if there are any Aussies who HAVEN'T received it yet (if not mine must have gone astray I think).

I too haven't got it yet. There is something weird in the sending (or at least receiving) of the Newsletters in the non UK countries. I will ask Jeremy and/or Chris about it.

I received my Newsletter today.

Some how and extraneous "East" was added on to the name of my suburb but I doubt that affected anything as the post code was clearly labelled for all to see.

The post mark indicates it was sent on the 17th of January - received 3 February - so 18 days to get here - I would dearly love to know where it was held up.
