Here's a 'Brazil monitor' I made using a viewfinder CRT.

As well as driving it from a DVD player, I've had it working with my PIC-based NIBL computer!

Okay, here it is then. I spent an hour getting this picture!

Not very distinct but you might make out Eric Stewart of 10cc.

Somehow I can't imagine Michael Palin as a torturer. I can only see him prancing around like that leper he played.
