Hello from an NBTV newbie

Hello,

I have had a vague interest in mechanical tv since I saw it explained on a documentary several years ago.Recently I left college(called highschool outside of the uk) so have had a lot of time on my hands to think. In between my work as a magician I have been googling all over and strengthening my very basic knowledge of early tv.A few days ago I didn't even know that that the Nikpow disk had a name. That's when I came across this forum.

I have carried out what you might call thought experiments but I've yet to build anything in the real world.I'm sure that when I come to do some actual projects the advice here will be very useful.
