I simply wasn't able to view the pictures as they're too large. If you wish to have your pictures visible 'in-line' as part of the posting, reduce them to less than 800 pixels wide. This can be done with a freeware program like Irfanview...it also saves server space which although is not a problem now, it may be one day...

wow very nice. i like the separate lens in the front and how the washers(?) highlight the location of the holes.

Yes it works fine. I now have made a film taken from the 1920s which plays and remains stable from start to finish. Its a flapper.

I have made others, but the settings need to be changed for each one.

Yes, they are washers. I wanted to cover some rough edges and give it a sort of 20's look with black and silver. Actually, the extra weight makes the disk more stable, once it has got up to speed. Momentum and all that.

Oh. Thanks. I'll try and reduce it.

This is 10% of the size. That should do it!

I don't understand the metal rings around the holes. They reflect the stray light and incident lightfrom the room, and thus blur the picture that you see. I also guess that you see direct light from the LED cluster around the edge of the disc. If you had made a viewing funnel between the lens and the disc, it would have been more practical.

DrZarkov, is your avatar 'My favourite alien'? (60's TV show)

The same actor played Henry Bone in 'Picket fences'. That reminds me, must get my request off to Santa for 'Touched by an Angel' boxed set.

and while we are at it 'Touched by an Angel' boxed set ??? try

Twighlight Zone 1959–1964 boxed set
and then
The Prisoner (best ever) boxed set

Hi Gary,

I knew it was something like that!

I'm perhaps not at young as you think. I was in my pram when Pres. Kennedy died :)

Kev and I have watched many entire 'boxed set' series including 'The Prisoner'. We're now on 'Stargate SG1' after having completed 'Psychoville' and 'Star Trek Voyager'.

Actually, the 'Touched by an Angel' boxed set thing is a kind of threat I hold over Kev - do this or I'll buy 'Touched by an Angel'. He often calls my bluff because he knows it will send me into a coma too.

We've got a good collection of Hartnell and Troughton era Dr Who's to watch too. So many vids, so little time...

Yes, it is "uncle Martin", from "My Favorite Martian". It was here on TV in the mid 1970s, so I'm just old enough to remember it.

I don't think we've had that one over here - must look it up.
