I found these 2 different ideas on using Selenium

On the matrix camera i suppose he got it right to early ...ditching scanning all together with an all at once idea ...one light cell to one light he...... no electronics but today we could do it if your not bothered by all the wiring to a direct camera monitor.

I wonder what the bandwidth would be like if you tried to transmit every light cell at once theres one for you to work out ..my brain hurts any different to a scanning camera ?

The electromagnetic spectrum has no theoretical limit at either end. If all the mass/energy in the Universe is considered a 'limit', then that would be the only real theoretical limit to the maximum frequency attainable.
