To say goodbye to the test signals we will be transmitting them continuously overnight!

To make it more interesting I have worked with BBC R&D colleagues to recreate some of the older test cards from a 30 line version through the 405 line era, on to 625, colour, widescreen and finally high definition.

Assuming I've understood the blog correctly I've programmed that in (26th March, 3:00 to 3:30) so touch wood, I should get a recording (unless the computer crashes or the power goes off or something!).

I'm interested in that recording, too. Could you please upload it at Youtube?

I have just watched it on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSFgolB7HHE), having been tipped off by the Telephone Heritage Group.

Turns out that transcoding a DVB transport stream to something youtube likes is a huge pita.

Youtube's processing has totally screwed up the audio track but since someone else has beaten me to it I give up!
