Dylan, I see that you have comparable hobbies as me. Don't abandon that, it is a wealth to have several interesting hobbies that others stopped.

He is more red than this orange, this is my James in the sun in the garden. In the mean time I provided him with a real front lamp made from a bright LED in the plastic front lamp. For that I combined two of my hobbies. A third hobby is HAM-radio.

There is no reason to stop one hobby when you get interested in another too. The wooden railway was something for our children and now our grandchildren play with it. When I had your age the wooden railways were not yet exising.

You are right by that about being into other hobbies. But I'm really interesting about this Bachmann large scale trains, it's cool that you put it into your garden. :)
But I don't think Bachmann large scale would fit (or enough space) in my garden, since my garden is a bit small and has a lot of plants and bushes. :? But I do have a Hornby Flying Scotsman. :)

Fine Dylan, this is how it starts. You have plenty of time to grow into it. Congratulations with your birthday.
