I know this is off-topic, so moderator please delete if inappropriate... ;)
Here's what you can make with a cheap ($200) 3D printer and a bit of patience... this beast is about 1.5 m long and looks awesome! I finished it last night.

Not really off-topic as it shows just what these devices are capable of - and it's in the Off-Topic section anyway.

I'm not sure that I would want to have that in my house though!
