EAI TR-10 analog computer

Postby Andrew Davie » Fri Dec 28, 2018 1:37 am

Added an analog computer to my collection. This is the first one I've ever come across - it's an EAI/PACE TR-10 from about 1960.
Found at the local tip shop - damaged from being thrown onto a hard surface at the tip (alas!) but quite repairable. I might eventually get this running, but for now it's just a bit of a display piece :)

Heathkit made a number of analogue computers - well you did - you had to build them from a kit of parts. They came (as all Heathkit kits did) with truly excellent manuals which are probably 'out there' somewhere in pdf form.

I believe the photo is of an EC-1, but I'm not sure if that's correct.

Steve A.

Zooming in on the photo it is an EC-1.

I was able to at least find the schematic...and yes, it's all tube/valve except some diodes...
