As soon as I saw that machine I thought "Talking Books for the Blind". These were once standard issue in the UK. I then looked at the label, which confirmed "R.N.I.B. Talking Book Service". I had never come across the name "Tapete" though.

Yes for me i can't say i have seen one in Australia so new to me Dave!
