Can I just say thanks to all the organisers of the convention - well done. It was great to put faces to names etc and see all the great work there.

I agree. I had a drive of 2 times 300 km for it, interrupted by the Tunnel, and the same for back home, but it was very nice to see the lads back.
Its a pitty that we missed Graham, I always like to see him there and have a chat. And I realised that four important men, that gave the Convention his body have been passed away, Doug, Les, Grant and Denis.
I have brought Peter Smith into contact with one of the Dutch hams, that makes endless loops for magnetic detectors. Pete missed that still. I hope it will be a succes for him. These are the remarkable things of the Conventions.
