If I were in the UK I would have certainly taken them off your hands. But where I am the cost of shipping/postage would simply be prohibitive...sadly.

Alan, but then again I could be in the UK mid-August...once the Olympics are over. Maybe sending them to my parents place (Surrey) would be more sane and I'll hand-carry them home.
As an approximation how much do they weigh? If not too much the UK postage would be a reasonable figure.
