The kind folks at the Hobart Tip Shop showed me the "back room" where they have a number of lovely old pieces of radio and test gear for sale.
Lots of valves/tubes, too - and a few CRTs as well. Feel free to contact them directly, or through this topic/page. I will be happy to pass on any messages or do better photos for you.

That place reminds me of one we had in wollongong where i used to live but it was more old army surplus ! it makes me happy this stuff is still about !
The electromagnetic spectrum has no theoretical limit at either end. If all the mass/energy in the Universe is considered a 'limit', then that would be the only real theoretical limit to the maximum frequency attainable.
