Laptop screen fix

Postby Harry Dalek » Sat Oct 29, 2011 10:16 pm

Hi i got a cheap lap top the other day the screen had been stepped on so a no goer ....

I never tried this before as i never knew that the screens are pretty much interchangeable !

So long as the screen fits the same size as your lap top it can be changed with another models screen ...the LCD screen plug is the same in all the scrapped lap tops i had and in the broken toshiba i wanted to fix.

The only difference is the lap tops light invertor plug so keep the wire and plug from your broken laptop screen and cut off the plug of the new screen wire the 2 wires together plug it in and there you go fixed screen ...

i ended up with a 10 dollar laptop twice as fast as my old one that cost me 80 bucks on ebay .

I used a broken scrapped dell screen in the end to to fix my toshiba .
