That is really beautyful. As I saw in his homepage, his first model used a 555 for speedcontrol. The kit he is selling looks more advanced, using an MC4093, for synchronisation I guess. (I wonder why, I had done it mechanical.)

Dr. Aden has made some other wonderful Zoetrope displays other than this beautiful one as you say.
He did a Batman display but it is not as colourful nor as good animation.

They certainly bowl you over when up to speed and suddenly the strobe lighting is turned on.........as they say nowadays, WOW :shock:

At Youtube I found several 3D Zoetropes, using LEGO-men. That is indeed a very good and easy to make idea.
