2014 NBTVA Convention.

Postby Steve Anderson » Sun Feb 09, 2014 12:48 pm

Chaps,

I received this rather 'odd' e-mail from Jeremy yesterday...

Hello All ...

Re NBTVA Convention

I have spoken to Rosemarie Lander, Prof Parish's PA at Loughborough Uni. Electrical Engineering Dept., requesting Saturday April 12th. She reports we should be able to meet at the same location as before. I will follow up this verbal request with a formal letter but this date looks OK.

We will as usual agree to the best behaviour, and not leave any beer cans, orange peel, solder spots or obsolete ICs. We should also try to keep mirror drums at moderate speeds, to avoid embedding small surface-silvered mirrors in walls, ceilings or attenders.

Best regards

Jeremy

Well. he did send it at about 11pm UK time, perhaps he'd been down the local for a swift half...

Might it be possible to attend via Skype? If someone could bring a laptop and camera?

Id be happy with mechanical camera hooked up to a Short wave transmitter .

i Think some kind person might put some photos up.
The electromagnetic spectrum has no theoretical limit at either end. If all the mass/energy in the Universe is considered a 'limit', then that would be the only real theoretical limit to the maximum frequency attainable.
