Its been a long time but I finally got some more work done. Check out my lens shroud. It is laser cut acrylic and the inside has a matte finish. i was going for the period look and I am pleased with the results. I need to mount it next.

Yes it looks really good bet that took a while to cut out with the laser .
The electromagnetic spectrum has no theoretical limit at either end. If all the mass/energy in the Universe is considered a 'limit', then that would be the only real theoretical limit to the maximum frequency attainable.

Hi Harry

The laser cutting only took 17 minutes. Assembly 10 minutes. But it did take my intern 3 days to do the cad work in fusion 360 and we did cut it two times. I guess it would have taken me about 6 hours if I designed it. Now its done reproductions are quick and easy.

Keith that's a good one for the construction diary for those who may not have the skill like you to make this stuff .
