Hi.
I've just read that Panrock (Steve Ostler) has passed away. I read this on the UKVRRR https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/sho ... ost1016328
May I pass on my condolences.
Very sad indeed.
Cheers Trevor.

Hi.
I'm a bit concerned regarding the thread on the UKVRRR, Steve was logged in here late last night and also on the UKVRRR this morning...... all very odd.
I have asked a pal of mine to ask on the UKVRRR if this could be confirmed, I'm really sorry if I have passed on incorrect info.
is there someone here that is able to find out, i did have Steve's number but for the life of me I can't find it, may be in my last mobile phone.
Cheers Trevor.

Absolutely.
Steve is alive and well, he has replied on the thread on the UKVRRR. I took the info in good faith and passed on the news. Perhaps the OP and myself should have confirmed before posting. Apologies from myself for passing on incorrect nformation to all here and Steve himself.
Cheers Trevor.

Glad you get to read this, Steve!

“Two hunters are out in the woods when one of them collapses. He’s not breathing and his eyes are glazed, so his friend calls 911. “My friend is dead! What should I do?” The operator replies, “Calm down, sir. I can help. First make sure he’s dead.” There’s a silence, then a loud bang. Back on the phone, the guy says, “OK, now what?”

Well that's a relief Steve, if just a little annoying. I don't suppose you'd like to... nah forget it, silly idea.

Well, it looks like your nick name will be "Mark Twain" from here on in.

The electromagnetic spectrum has no theoretical limit at either end. If all the mass/energy in the Universe is considered a 'limit', then that would be the only real theoretical limit to the maximum frequency attainable.

I've got one! A 405-line television transmitter (being tackled in association with others). News is being kept updated at http://www.405-line.tv

Too big to take to the Convention and in any case not 'N' enough for NBTV. :)

I like that you are still doing projects it made me wonder i would still be enjoying the hobby in the years to come if i make it .
Sounds like your the modern Tesla induction powering a drone sounds very possible have to show us the results ,you could charge the battery while flying above it .
Very interesting Albert
