Analog Oscilloscope Headphone Jack

Postby FlyMario » Sun Jul 29, 2018 9:37 am

I plug my Oscilloscope to the output of a headphone jack to begin working on a circuit to isolate negative voltages of the NBTV signal. However my neither of my scopes (siglent or dso nano) are showing any waveforms from the output. However I can connect the leads to a amplified speaker and it sounds fine. Is there some reason this should be happening that you guys can think of?

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.
