Welcome!  Not you...me.  I may well be the last person to make their own website.

And what will you find here?  My writing -- finished and partial, links to things I like and a little bit about me and my family.

Writing

I began writing fairly recently -- in the last 3 years or so.  I've always loved what was termed "creative" writing and enjoyed it in school.  I never took it or my abilities seriously, though.  "You can't make a living from writing poems or short stories," I thought to myself.  So I majored in the truly useful field of French and French Literature.

Words and what the evoke have intrigued me for as long as I can remember.  I started out jotting things down.  I then graduated to joining an online writing group, where I gained some much valuable confidence and encouragement.  And now I ... well, I try.
