Most of the following short stories have come about as a result of my participation in the eGroup, New Writers. I think without the sense of community I found there, I would not have taken my scribblings to the next level. "Orange Peel" was published on several websites, first at the site, http://www.cleansheets.com . My husband will tell you that I base my stories on various family members. This isn't true. Situations, settings and bits and pieces that float in conversation have, of course, influenced me, but none of these stories are biographical by any means. The standard blurb...all characters are fictional, any resemblance to persons alive or dead is purely coincidental (or at least due to the peccadillos of my sub-conscious).
