Yes...a vanity page.  I think there's some Internet regulation that stipulates that every website much contain at least one picture of the creator, more if he/she has any offspring or pets.  I have some of each.

If you're in the least bit interested in my personal background or history, you can either read about me below or wait until I become famous and my life will be splashed across tabloids available at a store near you.  Personally, I'd wait...it's bound to be more interesting than the facts.

Daughter of Robert and Gerry Elfline.  Born 1961, Galesburg Illinois. Eldest of 4.  Three genius brothers -- Alan, Ross and Rob.  Married to Andrew Davie since December 1989.  Mother to Caitlin (Caitie), 6,  and Cameron, 4.  Live in Hobart, Tasmania.

Education/Work

BA in French/French Literature.  Participated in exchange programs, including 1 year in Besançon, France.

Extensive experience in the entertainment software industry -- approximately 16 years.  Now with the Tasmanian Department of Education as a Web Documentation Consultant.

Interests

I'm a novice gardener, now living in just under an acre of bush land on Mount Wellington.  I enjoy sewing and firmly believe in the Quilter's adage, "The one with the most fabric wins."  I'm in strong contention for at least one of the top ten.  I'm willing to try any kind of handicraft, a surfeit of half-completed projects lay testament to that.
