Problems with Video2NBTV

Hello!
I recently installed Video2NBTV 3 and i have some problems:

When i try using OBS as the camera or when i try loading a movie it gives me this error "Could not connect video source to video grabber VFW_E_CANNOT_CONNECT(0x80040217)". With images or my actual camera it works fine, can anyone help me fixing it?

Welcome to the group,
You may need to convert your video to another format. I have attached an AVI file that works Please find attached document detailing a program to convert video format. Hope this helps. If not come back to us. We look forward to you joining the NBTVA.

Hi acl!
Thank you for the .avi video. VIDEO2NBTV is still not working, but this time it gives me this error:
"Could not get connected media type DIERR_UNPLUGGED & VFW_E_NOT_CONNECTED"

The error is different, as you can see, so i hope you can help me fix it.

I got a similar error message as I haven't used this excellent software for a while. I used the 'Alpha' version Use the video converter file to convert to WMV format and try again. It worked for me.

Unfortunently, even if i converted the video to .wmv, i still get an error:
"Could not connect video source to video decoder VFW_E_CANNOT_CONNECT".

I see that the error is similar to the first one, i believe there is a problem with my laptop, however i haven't tested Video2NBTV on other computers.


(Btw, i dont really like being called "sir", you can call me "SHCDGH" or "SHC")

The software is fine and I have had it working on several version of windows. As you have had the WEBCAM working I suggest it is something to do with the video file formats or player. Best try on a completely different PC and report back.

The program works perfectly on one of my older laptop.

I wish it worked on my main laptop, however, I will try using a program called "freenbtv".

The problem aso work good on my laptop. Even I can watch movies on Magis TV on it.
