A CRT probably impossible to find.

Here's a CRT I wish I had, you can see all inside and the deflection plate connections are brought out to the side to minimise capacitance. A Philips DG16-1. Datasheet attached.

CRT site I got the photo from..

http://www.crtsite.com/page3.html

Datasheet from here, not just CRTs, but ALL types of vavles/tubes. Choose the server nearest you (first page).

http://www.tubedata.org/

If there's a little 'marker' next to the tube/valve type, click that to see a photo of that device, sometimes more than one.

The electromagnetic spectrum has no theoretical limit at either end. If all the mass/energy in the Universe is considered a 'limit', then that would be the only real theoretical limit to the maximum frequency attainable.

Whats the problem Steve? Are you searching for one? Or is this just curiosity?

No Klaas, not searching for one, but I'd love to have one, I would assume very rare and the owners probably wouldn't want to part with them - no matter the amount of cash.
