One of the first integrated circuits? I've seen others too elsewhere...this is 1926...nearly 100 years ago...

Little did they know or did they it was a good idea ! wonder if an example still exists ?
The electromagnetic spectrum has no theoretical limit at either end. If all the mass/energy in the Universe is considered a 'limit', then that would be the only real theoretical limit to the maximum frequency attainable.

I think there are a few examples, but I guess no-one dares trying them out, best left as they are. Real museum pieces.

I doubt they were that reliable, the passives being exposed to the temperatures and maybe a vacuum too...but there's inventiveness for you...
