This is very odd, and not by design. What browser and OS are you using?

Im using Google Chrome, operating on Windows 10, but i have not had this problem until i recently downloaded a new update for Windows 10.

I am using PlA, but i dont plan to smooth anything, even though i have some bottles of chloroform to do it with. I rather plan to paint it all matte black. The reason for this is than i have ran out of usable black filament, and had to switch over to some other colours. I have noticed that the filament produced by large companies, such as Makerbot, Ultimaker, etc., usually make filament that has many impurities with it, clogging the extruder, the part that put out plastic. You can still print with it, but you can not print very large objects. I was thinking of starting another topic, since this one has changed from "Baird Lens Box and Face plate" to "Baird 3D Printed Reproduction parts"!

I have contacted somebody about CNC milling the baseplate for a televisor. I have also designed a terminal board, by cropping a picture of it from a list of Baird branded components, and putting the cropped image over a flat, square 3d model. I cut holes out of the model in relation to the binding post, and did the same thing with the labels, such as MAINS, LAMPS, COILS, and at the bottom, J.L. BAIRD. I have 3D printed it with green and white plastic, using a method involving switching filament colours mid-print, to produce a two-tone print, so the letters, words, and edges stick out more to the eye. Also, Andrew, the forum still kicks me out if i try to post more than one attachment, so i will post the images in a second post.

And a finished 3D printed terminal board, minus the terminals, and the Baird Televisor legs i designed.

Now that i have the terminal board done, i have been looking for resistances. I know the ratings for the resistances ohms wise, but not wattage wise. I wonder what they could be?

According to "Television for the Amateur Constructor" pg. 171 the motor takes 0.3 amps at 50VDC or 100 VAC.

EDIT: There is also some good information on the dimensions of the lens box and lenses in that post. Not sure if they are exactly the same as those used in the fully assembled Televisor, but there's no reason to think they would be different.

I have created a sub-forum in the Construction Diaries section for this build.
A "shadow" of the original post is still in the original location, but it will direct you to the new forum section.
I encourage the use of multiple threads in that sub-forum, related to different topics on this build. For example, there might be a thread about 3D printing.

It may seem like this topic is dead, but One: i am to lazy to post the pictures of my results achieved in the past few days, and Two: i plan to jump start this topic "with a battery that is to high powered" after i get dimensions for the televisor this weekend. In the mean time, just sit back and wait, and ill be dreaming up some plans for another project for later, that may or may not be 3d printed, large(r) screen Scophony related.

I'm visiting the early television museum this weekend, and have had a chance to go fully at the televisor.

I'm currently back at the museum, and they have let me take the faceplate for of the televisor. The faceplate is 5 1/2 inches wide, and 5 7/8 inches long
